The Golf Program's Double Eagles squad won it's 2nd consecutive Intramural Rec League title with a convincing 6-3 victory over the previously undefeated Transformers squad.
Both teams cruised to the finals with big wins in the semi-finals, but an injury to top scoring Double Eagles forward Mark Tovee was cause for concern entering the finals. The high scoring Transformers looked poised to take the title, but the wily Double Eagles, who were appearing in their 5th consecutive championship game, put that experience, along with an inspired performance by Tovee, to take the crown.
